3.6-magnitude earthquake hits in Chechnya

According to the press service of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded in the Chechen Republic.

Tremors were felt on June 13 at 14:02. The hypocenter of the earthquake lay at a depth of 50 km. There were no reposrts of damage or casualties.

According to the Center, the earthquake occurred 67 km from Grozny. At the same time, underground tremors are also registered 18 km from the village of Borzoi in the Shatoi district.

Earlier, tremors had been recorded near the Dagestan city of Khasavyurt. The earthquake's magnitude was 3.5. Its hypocenter was located at a depth of 5 km.
