Three victims were killed Tuesday in a terror attack in the eastern city of Van, authorities told Anadolu Agency.
Deputy Gov. Mehmet Parlak said the casualties occurred when terrorists detonated a bomb-wired vehicle near a police station in the Ipekyolu district.
Speaking also to Anadolu Agency, ruling AK Party's provincial head Zahir Soganda said 71 people were injured.
"Among the 71 injured, three of them are in a serious condition and 17 are police officers," Trend cited Soganda as saying.
