Over the first six months of this year, security officers of Dagestan killed dozens or arrested hundreds of members of illegal armed groups, the press service of the prosecutor's office of Dagestan reported.
"This year, Dagestani security officials killed 29 leaders and members of illegal armed groups in the course of special operations, including those who returned from Syria. In addition, about 200 militants were arrested and brought to justice," the report says.
