On Tuesday, July 9, southwestern Türkiye was hit by a 4.4-magnitude earthquake. This is stated on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Türkiye (AFAD).

Tremors occurred in the resort of Marmaris, which is located on the Mediterranean coast. The earthquake occurred at around 09:11 local time (12:11 Moscow time).

The hypocenter was located at a depth of 67 km.
