The 4th International Young Pianist Competition started in Gabala within the framework of the 8th International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation . It will last until August 5.
Young performers from Russia and Azerbaijan will take part in the competition, which is held in the Qafqaz Resort hotel.
The jury consists of famous musicians Oxana Yablonskaya, Farhad Badalbeyli, Murad Adigozalzade, Irina Starodub, Walida Suk and Maryam Maleki, AzerTAc reports.
