One of the terrorist groups that was liquidated in Kazakhstan planned large-scale terrorist attacks in this country and in Moscow, Kazakhstan's National Security Committee reported.
"Another terrorist group planned to commit large-scale acts of terrorism in Moscow and in Kazakhstan under instructions of foreign terrorists," the report says.
In February, five members of this group - citizens of Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan - were detained in the capital of Kazakhstan, and later sentenced for taking part in terrorist activity, the report noted.
