An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 occurred in the West of Iran, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said.
The epicenter was located 120 km southwest of the city of Isfahan at a depth of 40 kilometers, TASS reports.
There was no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
