The Ministry of Energy will make a decision on the 50 watts more incandescent light bulbs ban before the end of the year, Deputy Energy Minister Anton Inyutsin said.
According to him, the law provides the possibility of introducing such restrictions.
The restrictions on the sale of the 100 watts more incandescent bulbs are already in force - it is banned to produce and sell such bulbs. "We are considering the possibility to go further and limit up to 50 watts," Inytsin said, noting that in recent years, a sufficient production base has been formed and the cost of energy-efficient light bulbs has decreased.
