63 Georgian citizens deported from EU

Sixty-three Georgian citizens, residing on the territory of the European Union countries without permission, were returned to Georgia last week.

The process was coordinated by the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union FRONTEX.

Between January and June, 1760 thousand people were deported from Georgia to the EU. According to the statistics of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, most of the Georgian citizens were deported from Turkey (874 people), Germany (206 people) and Israel (200 people), Sputnik Georgia reports.
