63% of Russians want to keep Putin as President

63% of Russian respondents want to see Vladimir Putin as the Russian president after the 2018 elections, the Levada analytical center said.

The majority of the surveyed (63%) responded positively to the question whether they want to see Vladimir Putin as the president of Russia after his current term expires in 2018, while only 19% of the respondents answered negatively. 

The new results show a three-percent growth in comparison to the similar poll conducted in May 2016 and 30-percent growth in comparison with the results of a poll conducted in October 2012, Sputnik reports.
