According to the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, over the course of 17 hours about 700 cars were detained today in Chechnya and brought to an impoundment lot.
"I made a statement on Monday that the situation on the roads of the Chechen Republic is alarming and called for drastic measures. At the same time, my first decisions were announced. By 5 pm about 680 cars were detained and taken to a impoundment lot today. About 900 reports were drawn up,’’ RIA Novosti cites his message on Instagram.
