Spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Cecile Pouilly, said that almost 7000 people have been killed and over 17,000 have been injured since the start of the Ukrainian conflict.
"From mid-April 2014 until June 27th 2015 at least 6832 people have been killed, and at least 17,087 people have been injured in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine," RIA Novosti cited Pouilly as saying.
These figures include the 298 victims of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crash in Donbass.
