A total of 702 People's Protection Units (YPG) terrorists have been neutralized since Turkey launched Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, the Defense Ministry said Thursday, Daily Sabah reports.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
Over 40 terrorists surrender to security forces during the operation, the ministry added.
