Russia's Stavropol is hosting the eighth Russian-Azerbaijani inter-regional forum under the motto "Investments, innovations and tourism".
Co-organized by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, the forum will feature round tables on a number of issues, including on cooperation in industrial and humanitarian spheres, development of tourism, and innovations in the field of healthcare.
The round table 'Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of industry' will be moderated by the Director of the Association of Cluster and Technology Parks Andrey Shpilenko and deputy director of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park Zaur Mammadov.
Messages from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will be read out at the plenary session of the forum.
Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Oleg Belaventsev, Governor of Stavropol Vladimir Vladimirov, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbul oglu, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin will also address the session.
The plenary session will be followed by the ceremony of signing bilateral documents, after which the heads of delegations will hold an official press conference.
