ADB to allocate $2.24 billion to Azerbaijan

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a business plan for operations in Azerbaijan for 2016-2018 years.

The estimated cost of the ADB lending program in Azerbaijan during this period is $2.24 billion. The total cost of the projects (including the share of the Azerbaijani government) is $3.08 billion.

Funds allocated by ADB will be used to implement the water, transport (roads and railways) and energy projects, Trend reports.
