The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation every time pleases with the high level of the international tournament's organization, Bulgarian gymnast Neviana Vladinova said in an interview with a Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent after performing in qualifying exercises with clubs at the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
"I’ve lost count how many times I have come to Baku to tournaments. I feel like at home here. And it is because the organization of tournaments is always at a high level, with every detail planned carefully,” she said.
Nevyana Vladinova also recalled that the coach of the Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team, Mariana Vasileva, trained her for two years. “She brought me from Pleven, my hometown, to Sofia. I am very grateful for her work, she is one of my first coaches. Thanks to her, I am here today,” the Bulgarian gymnast emphasized.
This week, on September 16-22, the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The tournament is the qualification competition for the 32nd Olympic Games in Tokyo. More than 300 gymnasts from 61 countries are competing for nine sets of medals. The motto of the tournament is “Fairy tales will come to life”
