The Azerbaijan Gymnastic Federation has organized perfectly the European Championships in Trampoline, Double Mini-Trampoline and Tumbling, the president of the French Gymnastic Federation, James Blato, said today in an interview to a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
"This tournament that takes place in such a great sports palace is well organized. Everything is very, very well organized and coordinated. It is evident that the organizers did everything to hold the championship at such a high level, "he said.
"As for cooperation with AGF, we are well acquainted with its president, first vice-president of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and many others, we are friends. We are very satisfied with our contacts in general and in particular in the framework of these competitions, "James Blato emphasized.
"I've been to Baku before, but I had no opportunity to see the city. This morning I strolled finally around the city, and I was very impressed with both the historical part of the Old City and the modern architecture of Baku, "the president of the French Gymnastics Federation added.
