According to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action's weekly report, in the process of demining work in the liberated territories, several hundred munitions were eliminated last week.
It is specified that 204 mines intended to combat tanks and infantry were eliminated.
In addition to this, 274 other ammunition were destroyed.
According to the agency, over 1,000 hectares of territory were cleared in total.
It is reported that the program to clean up the territories was carried out jointly with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Border Service of the republic.
