AZAL says no technical defect in its Boeing 787 Dreamliner engines

Technical defect detected in engines of Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes concerns the engines of "GEnx-1B PIP2" model and the producers have already sent relevant notifications to air companies using planes with such type of engines to conduct extra checkup, AZAL press service told APA-Economics, News.az reports.

According to AZAL, the serial number of General Electric engines installed in AZAL’s two Boeing 787 Dreamliner is out of category of technically-defected engines. However, AZAL’s engineers and technical staff is conducting consultations with General Electric and Boeing companies.

The USA stated that a serious problem was detected in the engines of AZAL’s Boeing 787 aircrafts.
