The head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, has urged all residents to come to the polls and vote, his press office reports. Abdullatipov appeared at polling station number 0652 in Kaspiysk, where he said that during these elections they had managed for the first time to ‘eliminate the bribing of voters and ensure the voting rights of Dagestanis.’
"Dagestanis participate in the elections, to form the power and control it. But if there is no civic engagement, we won’t find energetic and modern people for management, which means that it will be difficult to continue the positive changes that are now observed in Dagestan," he added.
