Untypical rain for the end of January fell today in Moscow. The air temperature reached two degrees above zero, which was also unusual for this season of the year. Traditionally, the last days of January and the beginning of February are the culmination of the Russian winter.
"The rain is not freezing, it is weak and persistent,'' Interfax quotes the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
