About 2,000 Chechen children spent holidays in camps this year

About 2,000 Chechen children have spent their summer holidays in camps and treatment centers this year, 15,000 more await their turn.


Rustam Jemayev, spokesman of the Chechen Ministry for Labour, Employment and Social Development, said that about 17,000 Chechen children will spend holidays in sanatoriums and camps, 10,000 of them come from poor families. 5,400 children will spend the holidays in Crimea. The third group consisting of 600 people are currently in Crimea.


Over 7,200 children aged 6-15 will spend the holidays in Kabardino-Balkaria, 2,800 in Chechnya's Shelkovskaya.


Chechnya plans to spend over 358 million on the health campaign of 2015.
