In Istanbul, law enforcement officers have detained about 50 foreigners during an anti-terrorist raid, organized in connection with the terrorist attack in Ankara.
The raid took place in the Pendik district in the Asian part of Istanbul. The exact citizenship of the detainees is still unknown.
According to the information of the DHA news agency, referring to its source in the police, the captured foreigners planned to travel to Syria and Iraq in order to participate in the activities of the terrorist organization Islamic State, RIA Novosti reported.
