About 15% of volunteers inoculated with the CoviVac vaccine by the Chumakov Federal Scientific Center have not developed antibodies by the target date, Center’s Director General Aydar Ishmukhametov said in an interview with the Russia-24 TV channel on Saturday.
"In our trials still about 15% [of volunteers], according to the preliminary data, haven’t yet developed an antibody response by the scheduled Day 28. Possibly, it will happen later," TASS cited him as saying.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reported of the registration of a vaccine developed by the Chumakov Federal Scientific Center for Research and Development of Immune and Biological Products. According to him, the first 120,000 doses of CoviVac will enter civilian circulation in the middle of March.
