Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has expressed the initiative to sell pearls from the State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the country of the Ministry of Finance (Gokhran). His proposal was announced during today's government meeting at which a report on the activities of Gokhran was approved.
Abrahamyan noted that a pearl loses its quality over some time. "If I'm not mistaken, they may be damaged in case of prolonged storage. I think that this issue should be discussed with experts and sold," ARKA cites him as saying.
