A Georgian truck driver on Saturday had an accident in Armenia.
At 12:44am, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that a truck had gone off road on the Yerevan-Sevan motorway—nearby Charentsavan town, ended up in the trees, the driver had gotten stuck in the vehicle, and rescuers were needed.
A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, News.am reported.
It was found out that the said truck had gone off road on the abovementioned motorway and hit the roadside trees.
Prior to the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, however, the truck driver—a Georgian citizen who was born in 1960—was brought out of the vehicle by local efforts. But the driver did not wish to be hospitalized.
