Airstrikes of RF airforces on militant positions have allowed Syrian forces to liberate 153 localities in December and early January, the chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Sergey Rudskoy said.
"In December 2015, militants were forced to escape from 134 cities and towns and 19 localities during the first days of the new year. The greatest successes were in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama, Homs and Raqqa,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
