Actions of Russian aerospace forces allowed 500 Syrian villages to be recaptured from terrorists

Thanks to the actions of the Russian aerospace forces, it was possible to recapture more than 500 Syrian settlements with a total area of 40 thousand square kilometers from terrorists, the Prime Minister of the country, Wael al-Khalq, stated during a meeting with Russian parliamentarians in Damascus.

"The Syrian people will never forget the assistance provided by the Russian people to them. First of all, this concerns the decision of President Vladimir Putin about the involvement of the Russian aerospace forces in the operation to support the Syrian army on the ground. Because of this, we have managed to liberate more than 500 settlements with an area of more than 40 thousand square kilometers," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
