Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the abolition of the upper age limit for the conclusion of the first contract for military service. The document is published on the official website of legal information.
The law eliminates the age limit for Russians of working age and for foreigners, at which they are granted the right to conclude the first contract for military service.
Previously, the law provided that the first service contract could be concluded by citizens of the country aged 18 to 40 years, and foreigners - 18 to 30 years.
