Agency on technological development created in Russia

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on establishing the agency on technological development.

The agency would provide assistance to enterprises in acquiring domestic and foreign patents and licenses.

"I hope that it will contribute to import substitution, enhance the competitiveness of our companies through their modernization and growth of non-oil exports," TASS cited Medvedev as saying.
