Dagestani farmers have harvested more than 50,700 tons of rice crops on an area of 11,000 hectares, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic reports.
"Rice cultivation is one of the promising and priority directions of agriculture. Dagestan is now in second place in the country among the regions which grow rice. The top ranking belongs to Krasnodar Territory,’’ RIA Dagestan reports.
