Direct flights between the capitals of Iran and Austria will resume on November 12, according to media reports from Iran.
Austrian Airlines will operate the restored route, with Lufthansa also planning to reinstate Tehran-Frankfurt service by year's end.
The suspension initially resulted from security concerns during June's Iran-Israel conflict, which also disrupted numerous European carriers' Tel Aviv operations.
