The Head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov stated today about an upcoming "total sweep" of Republican officials, during which the dismissal of civil servants will happen "in large amounts". Aksenov reminded that since the beginning of the year about forty officials had been fired in Crimea – more than anywhere else in Russia.
"I will not wait for the end of the investigation and the verdict of the court. I am a man of business and can quickly draw conclusions about whether the official had criminal intent. If the official sees that someone will benefit from some process and does not take measures, for me, it is a definite signal," TASS quoted him as saying.
