The U.S. bill that might expose OPEC to antitrust lawsuits could be “harmful” to the global economy, Saudi Arabia’s energy minister and chairman of state oil company Saudi Aramco Khalid al Falih told Financial Times.
But he expressed his hope that the United States would “do the right thing”.
According to Saudi Arabia’s energy minister, the world would suffer “irreparably” from the loss of Saudi Arabia’s ability to quickly raise or cut oil production to balance the market.
