Aleksandre Erkvania leaves Georgian Dream party

MP of the ruling Georgian Dream party Aleksandre Erkvania has announced he is leaving the ruling party.

He said that neither the head of ruling party Bidzina Ivanishvili, not the team had consulted with him before making the decision, Agenda.ge reported.

Erkvania is the 14th MP to leave the Georgian Dream party since the rejection of the bill on November 14, which offered the early-transition to a fully proportional electoral system from 2020 instead of scheduled 2024.
