Ukrainian Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili made a statement on his resignation from his post.
"I just want to tell all my respected deputies, so that they don’t waste their time on voting. The country has a lot of issues that are more important than my resignation. I can decide my fate myself without their help," TASS cites him.
The other day Alexander Kvitashvili was criticized by the Governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, who insisted on his resignation. This morning, first deputy chairman of the Poroshenko Bloc faction, Igor Kononenko, informed about Kvitashvili’s resignation. Initially, his information was denied, but it has now been confirmed.
