A Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak arrived today in Damascus, SANA reported.
The delegation was received at the People's Palace by Foreign Minister of the Syrian interim government Asaad Al-Sheibani.
The delegation also includes Russia's Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities Irek Fayzullin, Deputy Minister of Defense Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Vershinin.
According to the Al Ikhbariya TV channel, the topics of interethnic security, economics and energy were discussed.
