Promoter Eddie Hearn has offered Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin a June fight with Dillian Whyte after he blasted out David Price.
Povetkin stopped Price in five rounds with a brutal TKO and the Scouser went to hospital as a precaution to be checked over.
The Russian will now become Anthony Joshua’s WBA mandatory and promoter Eddie Hearn hopes to stall him by offering him a payday against Whyte, Mirror reported.
"He will be the mandatory for AJ. I’ve made him an offer to fight another fighter in June if he wants it - Dillian Whyte," Hearn said.
Whyte was ringside and said: "I’ll fight him next. Let’s do it."
