Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that his country would supply gas surpluses to Italy, which, in turn, would be able to transfer it to other European countries.
"We will send excess gas to Italy at its request, and Italy, in turn, will be able to distribute our gas throughout Europe", he said.
In addition to this, Tebboune announced the country's readiness to "establish maritime communication with Italy to provide part of Europe with electricity", TASS reports.
