Ali Akbar Velayati to visit Moscow on February 1

The assistant of spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on international affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, will visit Moscow on February 1-4. 

During the visit he will meet with high-ranking Russian officials, the press service of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Russia said.

"The sides are expected to exchange opinions and discuss the situation in the region and bilateral relations," RIA Novosti cited the message as saying.
