The Azerbaijani authorities are making every effort to maintain the stability of the manat, the President's Aide for Public and Political Affairs, Ali Hasanov, said in an interview with ANS.
"I believe that there is no reason to rush. The Azerbaijani government is trying to keep the manat stable. The manat is one of our national symbols, state attributes. The devaluation of the manat is also considered as a devaluation of our country," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
Ali Hasanov noted that the Azerbaijani authorities are making every effort to protect the interests of citizens, the National Bank and its structures.
