A Transaero plane heading from Almaty to Moscow made an emergency landing at Samara airport at 07:00 (MSK) today after one of the passengers felt ill.
"Unfortunately, a woman died before the arrival of the doctors," TASS cited a law enforcement official of the Samara region as saying.
The plane departed at 08:15 MSK. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
