Almaty hit by 3.7-magnitude earthquake

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake has been registered in the city of Almaty at 15:06 local time.

The epicenter of the quake was located 5 km north of the city on the territory of Kazakhstan, according to the seismological experimental-methodical expedition of the Academy of Sciences, AKIpress reported.

Tremors were reported as being 2-3 points. No injuries or damage have been reported.
