Almaty region hit by 5.2-magnitude quake

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Kazakhstan's Almaty region today.

The epicenter of the quake was centered 303 km north-east of Almaty on the territory of Kazakhstan.

Aftershocks of 3-4 points were felt by residents of some cities at 1:38 am Almaty time.

There have been no reports about victims or damages, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
