MSU hosted a meeting between the rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Turusbekovich Nasyrov, and 4th year students of the History Faculty.
The meeting was organized at the initiative of the department of history of the neighboring countries in the format of a public lecture. Almaz Nasirov spoke to Russian students on the current state of the political and social spheres of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the prospects of development of cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
In his speech, he also noted the exceptional importance of the decision of the Kyrgyz President, Almazbek Atambayev, on the country's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. "This decision opens the prospects for implementation of joint modernization projects with our partners on integration union," Nasyrov noted.
In an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza after the end of the lecture, the Kyrgyz scientist noted the high level of preparation of students of the History Faculty, who seek a profound study of the history and current state of Russia's closest partners and allies.
