Azerbaijani Deputy Minister for Labour and Social Protection, Idris Isayev, said that social benefits for 1.85 million citizens will be increased in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"A 10% increase in pensions will touch 1.27 million people and will require 140.8 million manats from the State Budget," Trend cited him as saying.
Also, the deputy minister said that an increase of payments to the population of up to 220 manats will cover 13,487 families of martyrs and will require 3 million manats.
