About 42% of the Russians supported the decision of the Russian authorities to lift the ban on the sale of tours to Turkey, 39% of the respondents expressed the opposite view, according to a survey of fund ‘Public opinion’.
The supporters of the normalization of relations with Turkey explained their position by the desire of the Russians to rest in this country (11%) and the need to live in peace (7%). The opponents expressed doubts about the safety of the Russian tourists (11%) and the need to develop domestic resorts (5%), RIA Novosti reports.
