A total of 970 terrorists have been killed since the launch of Operation Olive Branch in Syria's Afrin region, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement.
"23 PYD/PKK and ISIS terrorists had been neutralized in the early hours of Tuesday," Yeni Safak cited the statement as saying.
Operation Olive Branch was launched by Turkey on January 20 to remove terrorists from Afrin in northwestern Syria.
