Ankara: Turkey not to allow formation of 'border security forces' in Syria

Turkey’s National Security Council said that Turkey would not allow the formation of the US border security forces - a "terrorist army" - along its borders.

Turkey's top security body said it will take "any steps necessary immediately" to "defeat threats" upon the United States' announcement that it is building an army of PKK-affiliated People's Protection Units (YPG) terrorists on the Syrian border.

The Council demanded that all weapons given to Kurdish fighters in Syria be collected without delay, Reuters reported.
