The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and underlined the need to end the hostilities as soon as possible before another round of conflict started, the ministry's press service said.
Earlier, the Israeli army launched Operation Breaking Dawn against the Islamic Jihad group in the Gaza Strip. Attacks were carried out against targets in the Gaza Strip. The special situation was declared on the homefront. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said the IDF plans to act "until its objectives are achieved."
